- Ask a Question
Zamioculcus Zamiifolia ‘Raven’ is an exotic and striking houseplant that is popular for its unique blackish-green leaves that look almost like they have been painted.
This ZZ plant is easy to grow but grows slowly. This makes it the perfect choice for a loving plant parent.
The Raven is a low maintenance plant that can tolerate low light conditions, drought, and neglect, making it an ideal choice for beginners or those with a busy lifestyle.
Its waxy leaves reflect light beautifully, and its compact, upright growth habit makes it an excellent choice for small spaces, such as offices or apartments.
Water and Fertiliser –
Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. ZZ plants are drought-tolerant and can go several weeks without water. Use well-draining soil with a mix of perlite or sand to avoid waterlogging the roots. Feed your plant once a month during the growing season with a balanced organic fertiliser.
Lighting and Temperature Requirements–
Place your ZZ plant in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves. ZZ plants prefer warm temperatures between 15-30°C.
Trim off any yellow or damaged leaves to keep your plant looking its best.
