The Tulsi Plant (Ocimum sanctum), also known as Holy Basil, is a revered and sacred plant in many cultures, especially in India. This aromatic herb belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is native to the Indian subcontinent. The Tulsi Plant is known for its broad, aromatic leaves and is highly valued for its medicinal properties and spiritual significance.
To keep your Tulsi Plant healthy, water it regularly but ensure the soil has good drainage to avoid waterlogging. During the growing season, water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Use an organic fertilizer once a month to promote lush growth.
 Lighting and Temperature –
Tulsi thrives in full sunlight but can tolerate partial shade. It prefers a warm climate with temperatures between 20°C (68°F) and 30°C (86°F). Ensure the plant receives at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  Plant Parent Level-  Beginner
For best results, prune the Tulsi Plant regularly to encourage bushier growth and prevent it from becoming too leggy. This will also help to produce more leaves. Tulsi plants are typically grown in pots, allowing for easy movement to protect them from extreme weather conditions.
